www.chinabuses.org: Known from China Highway & Transportation Society Bus Branch on July 13th, the total sales of 50 bus enterprises in June are 21376 units, from China Bus Statistical Information Net, year-on-year rises of 12.43%, obvious contrast with that of the last two months and the turndown trend is halted temporarily.

Data shows that total sales of buses from January to June are 103912 units, growing rate is 3.31%. Including total sales of Yutong, Higer, KINGLONG and Golden Dragon are 50406 units, accounting for 48.51% of the total sales of buses, year-on-year rises of 8.07%, 2.44 times more than the average growing rate.

Deputy Secretary-general of China Highway & Transportation Society Bus Branch SHE, Zhenqing said, there are two obvious characters in bus industry in the first half of this year, one is the performance of large and medium scale bus enterprises are outstanding, including above four companies as main reason.

The other is export outnumbers domestic sales. From January to June, 29 out of 50 bus enterprises engage in exporting, the total export sales are 12430 units, year-on-year rises of 32.70%, ten times more than the average growing rate. SHE, Zhenqing said the situation of “export outnumbers domestic sales”shall be our chance under such circumstance.

Furthermore, city bus market starts flourishing. Data shows that sales of city buses are 7318 units, 34.23% of total sales of buses, 8.3% over the average 25.93% in the last five months, year-on-year rises of 40.70%, becoming the main reason of the sales growing of buses.

SHE, Zhenqing also believes that although city bus is the hope of bus market, management of city buses is less than satisfaction. Balance between sales and achievements will test the marketing experience and management of bus enterprises.
