2,000 CNG Buses Project in Lahore

www.chinabuses.org: The Lahore Transport Company is implementing a project of new 2000 buses for the citizens of provincial capital.
Local and foreign investors are showing keen interest in executing this plan while relevant formalities are being fulfilled in order to implement the plan expeditiously. High pressure CNG stations will be set up in order to cater CNG buses in collaboration with Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd. Transporters and representatives of civil society would be given due weightage in formulating urban transport policy.
This was stated by Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman LTC, Khawaja Ahmed Hassaan while residing over a first meeting of advisory committee of Lahore Transport Company at CM Secretariat on Sunday. The meeting was also attended by LTC Vice-Chairman Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed, CEO LTC J I KIM, G M Operations Asad Gillani, GM Enforcement Kamran Khan, GM Finance Adnan Mudassar, GM Planning and Infrastructure Muhammad Ozair Shah, Media Advisor Amjad Hussain, Arshad Khan Niazi, representative of civil society Jamal Ashraf.
