172 King Long City Buses Arrive in Malta

www.chinabuses.org: 172 King Long city buses arrived in Malta port on April 26. General Manager of ARRIVA Group Malta Company, Keith Bastow, officials of Malta Transport Department and Chinese ambassadors in Malta welcomed on the port. Mr. Bastow said that he hope that a 21 century Malta city bus system will realize soon with the help of King Long buses.

On April 2, Malta 172 city buses export ceremony was witnessed by Austin Gate, Secretary of Transportation in Malta and Mr. Bastow in Xiamen.
The buses are all equipped with Euro V engines and vehicle-mounted information management system, and the total order values exceed 15 million Euros.
The new public transport in Malta will start on July 3rd, and King Long buses will take one third of all vehicles.
