JAC Motors: Step from Made-in-China to China Brand

On 24 January 2011, 585 JAC Tojoy electric cars have been formally delivered in mass production, which marks the leading step of JAC in the area of new energy vehicles. 30 electric buses produced by Ankai Bus, subsidiary of JAG Group have been operated on the first electric city bus route in China and 150 units will be applied in Hefei again.
Ankai Bus is the pioneer for the development and manufacturing of China new energy buses & coaches and there are about 200 electric buses in operation in the cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Urumchi and Hefei, getting good market response. Ankai electric buses account for over 80% in the operated ones in business in China.
JAC Motors contributes a lot to the development of new energy auto for both cars and buses and has mastered the optimal matching and integration technologies, the development of control strategy and sets up R&D procedure, technical standard for tests as well as evaluation system, striving for the big breakthrough in battery technology, cost and energy density.
