The 1st Yutong Cup Contest

Minister of Ministry of Transport Li Shenglin said that Yutong Cup is a good try to establish a mechnasim to train energy-saving habits and talents.

Over 500 drivers from nearly 300 passenger transport companies joined the first Yutong Cup Contest. Fuel consumption for the top fifty drivers were 17.4L, 30% less than the standard fuel consumption per hundred km, 25L. There are nearly 600,000 operational vehicles in China, and 120 toms fuel can be saved if such fuel prudent rate, 50%, can be known.

City bus drivers will be included in the second Yutong Cup, marking the energy-saving effects will be set on more and more buses and coaches.
