In the meantime, the subsidy policies of vehicles to the countryside and trade-in old vehicles have finished on 31 December 2010 while the national subsidies will still be carried on for the promotion of the energy-saving as well as new energy vehicles in 2011.


China new energy vehicle industry confronts the bottlenecks such as inadequate supporting facilities, key technologies to be improved and high price. Therefore, it is difficult for the producers to open the commercialization of the new energy vehicles and also hard to comparable with the traditional auto industry at present.


According to the research and analysis reports by many institutions, the favorable policies will be continuously issued in the future five years in the background of the increasing international energy shortages, which will promote grave development of new energy vehicles. In 2011, the consumptive market will be further cultivated for such models and the breakthrough of the battery technologies will be made in 2011.
