100 New Hybrid Power City Buses to Run in Chuangchun in 2010

www.chinabuses.org:It is known from Chuangchun bus transport company that 100 new hybrid power city buses will be operated in 2011. As one of the demonstration cities for the promotion of energy-saving and new energy vehicles, there will be 200 new energy city buses in operation then in Chuangchun City.
In 2010, the first group of new energy hybrid power buses (100 units) have been applied in the main urban routes there, which makes Changchun one of the first cities where the electric-gas hybrid power city buses ran.
In recent years, it fully promotes the policy of “Public Transport First” and develops green transport in Chuangchun. In 009 and 2010, the local government invested 200 conventional city buses as well as 100 new hybrid power city buses. This year, there will be 100 hybrid power city buses and 400 conventional city buses in operation.
