www.chinabuses.org:Higer G-BOS system is a the effective tool for the bus operators to get precise operation and low cost management through colleting data of drivers’ behaviors as well as the equipments situations such as engines. Till now, the systems have been equipped in over 5000 buses and coaches in 31 cities such as Hangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and Qingdao.

According to Bian Yuan, the project principal of Higer G-BOS, this system consists of hardware and software. The former part is a terminal with integration of data display, engine diagnosis, GPS recorder, reverse sensor and monitor. The latter part is the operation system and applies the working principle: the terminal collects the operation data through sensors, the sends the information to the server by 3G wireless network and makes analysis report from the G-BOS system.


Lu Hancheng, the principal of mechanical department of Suzhou Auto Passenger Transport Group showed this system could confirm the safe operation and energy-saving of over 4700 vehicles of more than 40 companies. The system is capable of offering the specific data of the drivers’ behaviors, effective to avoid the hidden danger, reducing the maintenance cost, and helpful to control fuel consumption. He mentioned that the fuel consumption of each bus could reduce 5% and it was estimated that about 1.5 million liters could be saved (around 9 million Yuan).

Based on the operation data concerning speed, rotation speed of engine, oil pressure and cooling water temperature, operation analysis, Higer G-BOS offers diagnostic report and optimization advice after estimation to make continuous adjustments as well as optimized stitching matching. It is used to make proper and efficient improvements of the vehicles to prevent unnecessary cost and waste.
