www.chinabuses.org: On 29th December 2010, Tianjin Binghai New Area Public Transportation Company performed the ceremony of new buses start running at Tianjin Binghai new area bus station. Many enterprises and distinguished guests have presented the ceremony, such as Vice Secretary Municipal Committee of Tianjin, Secretary Area Committee of Binghai new area, He Lifeng, leaders of municipal transportation bureau and financial bureau, as well as general manager of Binghai New Area Public Transportation Company and Dong Wensheng, president of Taida Public Transportation Company.
46 Units Golden Dragon buses are ready to go
In the ceremony, Tianjin Binghai New Area Public Transportation Company (in the following short as “BPT”) has arranged 10 public transportation lines according to the demand of new area development plan, and the actual situation of public traffic. 198 units city buses have been put into use, including 46 units Euro IV oil and electric Hybrid city buses. These buses are equipped with super capacitance and oil-electric combination power, and developed by Golden Dragon with proprietary intellectual property rights. They played an important role on BPT with its reducing carbon idea of saving more energy.

As a matter of fact, as early as middle 80s of last century, Tianjin has implemented the development strategic of “Industry moves to the east ”, and began to make out the development of circulation economy. This year, in September and October, Golden Dragon has got the bid of 46 units hybrid power city buses in Binghai, all these buses will be put into operation in two new transportation lines.“If you have knowledge of the Zhongxin ecological town, you should know this is the government cooperation strategic project between China and Singapore, this project intends to take circulation use of resources and environment protection as the standard, so as to construct the ecological town”. This time, Golden Dragon hybrid power city bus has been chosen as the city bus for this town, it impelled the infrastructure construction of this area, said by Sun Tao.
