Young Man Bus Finishes ESP Tests to Upgrade Safety Settings

www.chinabuses.org: ESP safety settings have been introduced by Young Man bus for the first time in China. ESP application tests will calibrate some key parameters based on length, height, weight, and center of gravity of the vehicle in some extreme situations.
All Young Man 13.7-meter double deckers have passed ESP tests, especially when there is no passengers in the first floor and full capacity on the second floor. Afterwards, all Young Man buses will be equipped with ESP system.

Young Man first bus was adopted with Neoplan monocoque technologies to safeguard safety of passengers basically.

However, monocoque structure is still a passive safety setting to provide enough spaces for passenger when crashing. ESP is an active safety measures.
Since ESP is rather effective on auto safety, it has been compulsively popularized in many European and American countries. In China, there were about 10% vehicles equipped with ESP safety settings till 2010. And this time, Young Man bus became the first China bus builders to have ESP systems on bus products.
