As an important part of FAW indigenous system, FAW bus will try to become commercial vehicle division for FAW during the 12th five-year plan. And FAW bus has made up complete R&D, craftsmanship, marketing and brand plans.

In recent years, China bus market concentration has got higher and higher, Yutong, Kinglong, Higer and Golden Dragon take half market shares. What could FAW do?

The biggest advantage for FAW bus maybe that they have many production bases around China, including Changchun complete vehicle and chassis R&D base, Dalian new energy bus base, Wuxi complete vehicle base and Chengdu complete vehicle base. FAW Group has invested a lot to promote production abilities in the four production bases.

Another advantage is that marketing for FAW buses can relay on FAW commercial vehicle marketing system to spread their sales networks. And FAW buses and Jiefang commercial vehicles share lots of spare parts, so that they can also get technology support from Jeifang.

And the third advantage is new energy buses. As the first bus build to research and develop new energy buses, FAW bus has realized industrial operations of new energy buses. FAW hybrid buses have served Davos in summer of 2009 in Dalian. And their new energy buses have won large orders in Changchun, Dalian and Kunming.

As a wholly-owned subsidiary of FAW Group, FAW bus shoulders the commission to develop indigenous bus brands. FAW bus will not only pursue increasing sales, but also to make every effort to forge its brand.
