Sales of Yutong Bus Hits Record High in December

www.chinabuses.org: Yutong Bus declares on January 6th that sales of Yutong Bus amounted 5,626 units, up 25.7%, and this is the highest sales in 2010.
Totally 41,700 buses were sold out last year, up 46% over that of 2009.
Sales in December are always the highest as usual, but this year, sales growth of this month only amounted to 39%, lower than the growth in the previous three quarters. That is because the large sales of buses in December, 2009. Sales of Yutong main products, medium and large buses, amounted to 12,100 units, up 45%.
Influenced by the encouraging data, Yutong sales predicts were raised by CICC and Shenyin Wanguo Securities. And some favorable factors are that many cities start to encourage use of city buses, and school buses are encouraged to be employed to improve safety of students. Shenyin Wanguo Securities deems that use of high-speed railways will pose a major threat to airlines rather than intercity passenger transport.
