www.chinabuses.org: It is known that Chengde Public Transport Company will purchase 80 new buses with the investment of 32 million Yuan RMB as the government procurement. All new buses will be delivered and the hauling capacity will be increased by 10%. Twenty  Hengtong 11-meter Newman diesel city buses (rear engine) have been operated on 20 December.

The model is equipped with square tone, small circular arc turn, frame with acid phosphate, all glass windscreen, side window, rear engine (EuroⅢ), double doors, two-step and Dongfeng special chassis. Also, the reasonable matching and advanced technologies are applied in this model: primer for ship building is used to enhance the anticorrosion; polyurethane foam flame retardant material is applied on the surface of the exterior skinning; new rubber plate damping material is fixed among steel plates in the engine compartment to effectively reduce noise and four forced heat sinks are arranged in terms of northern climate. This model is advantageous in performance, reliable quality, easy maintenance, good economy and environment-protection.
