BYD to Export Electric City Buses to the US

www.chinabuses.org: BYD deputy chairman was quoted as saying that BYD is negotiating with officials in Los Angles on supplying pure electric city buses. If succeed, BYD pure electric buses will be exported to the U.S. at first, and then the electric buses will be produced in the U.S.
BYD plans to sell pure electric city buses in the U.S., and their first sample city bus will de delivered to America in the second quarter next year. BYD will become a formal city bus supplier for Los Angles if the test results are satisfying.
