Foton AUV to Develop Methanol-diesel Hybrid Bus

www.chinabuses.org: Foton AUV has signed strategic contract with Qinhuangdao Hetiangang new energy company to develop methanol-diesel hybrid bus. In the future, methanol diesel can be fueled to Foton AUV buses as alternative fuel.
Based on the contract, Foton AUV will be responsible for the development of the hybrid bus model, and Qinhuangdao Hetiangang New Energy Company will produce the methanol diesel and construct recharging stations. Foton AUV methanol-diesel buses have started demonstration running in Hebei Province in June this year.
Adopted parallel connection, Foton AUV buses can save as much as 25% compared with traditional diesel buses, and as much as 30% nitric oxide emission can be saved.
Foton AUV new energy has always explored in new energy vehicle field, and their pure electric buses, hybrid buses and CNG fuel cell buses are serving passengers for a long time.
