New Energy Bus Builders Focus on the Government Procurement

www.chinabuses.org: Recently, Yutong Bus took two models: ZK6100EGAA and ZK61226MGQB9 for China International Green Industry Expo 2010 (CIGIE 2010). More and more companies pay attention to the new energy vehicles with the continuous promotion.
Both two models represent the newest development trend as well as the advanced technology in the current new energy bus industry in China. ZK6100EGAA is a 10-meter electric sightseeing bus with the electric drive system independently developed by Yutong Bus and mute silence technology. ZK61226MGQB9 model is equipped with serial-parallel combined drive system in favor of less emission and low fuel consumption.
Also, car producers also focus on the demonstration project of new energy buses. Not long before, BYD launced K9 bus with BYD ironcell technology. Full charging of this model can afford to the driving range of more than 250 kilometers or 300 km with air-conditioner closed in the city. It is known that since launching of this model in the end of September this year, BYD has signed the purchasing intention agreement for 1000 K9 buses with Changsha government.
In addition, ten models of Yutong hybrid power city buses have been operated in Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Kunming and Xinxiang for demonstration.
