Yutong’s Market Share on Front-engine School Bus up to 51%

www.chinabuses.org: Yutong pays much attention on school bus by establishing R&D teams, currently Yutong school buses cover 6m to 10m, and over 1,000 school buses have been purchased in Gansu, Shandong, Henan and some cities in South China, taking 51% shares.
Yutong ZK6100DA school bus
There are mainly four school bus models, ZK6100DA, ZK6608DX, ZK6720DX and ZK6859HX. And there are largely schools and education competent department purchasing school buses. In future, Yutong will try to cooperate with some local governments and they may start their marketing in some cities. There were only 150 school buses purchased in 2008, and the number is 900 units till 2009, more and more bus builders are entering the markets.
Although Yutong is strong in marketing and technologies on school buses, they are fierce competition. FAW has developed their school bus products, and the products, valuing about 400,000 RMB, will be launched next year. Huanghai has adopted techniques and craftsmanship of MAN to develop series school buses. Changan has launched 6m, 7m, 8m, and 9m school buses, so are Iveco, Sunlong Bus and Hengtong Bus.
