JAC High-end Light Buses Get Markets Permission

www.chinabuses.org: Recently over thirty JAC light buses were published on MIIT the 217th new vehicles list. And with off line of JAC light buses and getting into markets, the monopoly of high-end light buses by foreign brands may be broken.

Judging from the released picture, JAC light buses are high-end Europe style buses with short-front, broad body and modular design. Apart from providing reliable safety and sufficient loading space, JAC light buses can be easily changed and updated. Their fashionable appearances have more visual impact than Iveco and Quanshun, which are contributed to efforts by JAC design center in Turin.
There are fashionable and classis two different front face for JAC bus. Their symbolic eagle-eye front lights are rather attractive. And they also make every effort on body waistline, chafing strips and rear brake lights etc. By adopting different wheelbases and configurations, JAC buses can be employed as medical vehicles, police cars, engineer and communication command vehicles. For the engine power, their self-developed HFC4DA2-2B (2.5L) and HFC4DA1-2B2 (2.8L) are used.
Lin Wei, previous Secretary of China Light Vehicles Committee, stated that this may change existing light bus markets in China by challenging the monopoly of foreign brands. It is said that JAC light buses will roll off the production line before end of November.
