Complete Vehicle Export Declines Slightly in August

www.chinabuses.org: 50,300 vehicles were exported in August, down 4.86% over July and up 66.66% over last year. The export revenues were 613 million USD, up 3.36% over July and 40.55% over last year. Sales of passenger vehicle increased, while sales of cargo trucks and buses decline clearly.
16,800 passenger vehicles were exported in August, up 3.26% over July and up 30 over last year. 15,000 cargo trucks were exported, down 20.81% over July and up 9.20%. 6,400 buses were exported, down 19.19% over July and up 85.33%.
According to statistics from CAAM, the top five auto makers with the biggest export vehicles are Chery, Changan, Great Wall, Dongfeng and BAIC, they export 57,300 units, 40,600 units, 37,700 units, 29,300 units and 24,100 units, up 173%, 56.64%, 89.16%, 130%, and 34.95% respectively. The top five auto makers took 56.27% of vehicle export volumes in China.
