300 More Pure Electric City Buses to Run in Beijing in 2010

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned that 300 more pure electric city buses will serve Beijing end of 2010.
Currently there are 100 pure electric city buses running in Beijing. Apart from the fifty units in the pure electric bus fleet, other buses belong to different fleets. Each electric vehicle takes three round trips with nearly 10,000 passengers/times per day.
There will be 300 pure electric city buses and 1,000 pure electric sanitation trucks and some pure electric taxi serving in Beijing.
