Hengtong Bus Wins the Tender from Guiyang with Newman LNG Coaches

www.chinabuses.org: From July to August 2010, Guiyang Public Transport Company invited tenders to nationwide bus builders for the purchasing of LNG coaches. Hengtong Bus is outstanding with 158 above 10-meter coaches with the bidding, which own the advantages of energy-saving, strong power, high loading capacity and cost performance.
It is known from Hengtong Bus that there have been currently more than 300 Hengtong LNG buses in Guiyang, in particular, 100 new ones purchased in last year. In 2010, there are 71 Newman 10.5-meter buses winning the bidding and then another 48 units due to the citizen's favor. It also has got the order of 25 12-meter LNG buses after the specially produced prototype bus carried on the loading test, simulating operation on road and successfully passed through the narrowest rope in Guiyang.
These 158 Hengtong coaches are all the popular Newman series ones. This model is designed for the large capacity, economic bus for our large and medium cities, equipped with simple, fashionable appearance, reasonable power train system, enclosed totally ring structure frame, special bus chassis, refined driver and passenger area enabling more interior used space. The first 71 one will be applied in bus routes of No.3, No.5, No.20 and No.25 in the urban for the development of local clean automobile landmark project.
