FAW Bus to Sell 5,000 Buses This Year

www.chinabuses.org:It is learned from FAW bus that they have integrated their plants in Changchun, Wuxi and Dalian, and the bus brands are under Jiefang. Their sales goal this year will be 5,000 units by uniform product standards, and technique specifications.
According to this overall schedule, they will divide their plants for different goals: Changchun plant will be responsible for research and development and produces chassis; Wuxi plant will produce tourism coaches, and Dalian plant will pay more attention on overseas markets, producing city buses and new energy buses.
The FAW bus brands will be integrated under Jiefang brand in July, 2010; and sales networks of Jiefang commercial vehicles will be integrated with bus department.
