Themed as Innovation, China Attitude, and Global Vision, Busworld Asia 2010 has attracted Yutong, Higer, Huanghai, Young Man, Zhongtong, Bonluck, and CSR etc bus builders and ZF, Allison, Cummins, ArvinMeritor, Firestone, Continental, GitiTire, Bitzer etc spare parts manufacturers. Unveiling ceremony of new products by the mentioned bus builders were held on the first day of the exhibition.
In addition, Smart Move initiative, aiming to improve usage of buses and coaches allover the world and deepening recognition of social and economic benefits of bus and coach, was held on the rewarding ceremony of BAAV.

Wang Wenbing, deputy general manger of Yutong, was interviewed by Wu Yongqiang, chief-editor of Chinabuses.com. Yutong took seven classic buses to Busworld Asia 2010 to show their technology power and green concept. When speaking of new energy buses, Mr. wang said that similar to auto industry, a great change has happened to bus industry, that is the scarcity of resources will be more and more serious. And it gave birth to the new energy bus trend. Although taking seven buses to the exhibition, they share the same feature, that is new energy and environmental protection. And this is the development trend of the whole industry, we can never be lagged behind.
General manager of CSR, Shen Yuxiang, was receiving interview by Chinabuses.com on May 6th. And he gave us in-depth analysis of pure electric buses.
He said that China is developing electric vehicles nearly simultaneously with overseas counterparts, and both of home and abroad developers have their own features. For CSR, their products have some advantages on electric power system, especially their reliable driving system. At the same time, they have some disadvantages on electric vehicles, cell technology, as well as braking transmission system.
When interviewing with Yu Chunyin, deputy general manger of Zhongtong Bus, he talked about current development and future of new energy buses. He stated that Zhongtong Bus has started developing new energy buses since 2004, which was the earliest in China. Currently their hybrid products are already the sixth generation products and the fourth generation of pure electric products. And their five products are specially designed for specific markets.
