www.chinabuses.org: It is learned that Huanghai Bus now has sufficient technical conditions to produce school buses fitting national standards. Huanghai Bus has produced the first domestic school bus for primary school before release of the formal national standards.

Huanghai has started to investigate school bus markets in countryside primary and middle schools since March 2007. After efforts for half a year, they finished development and test for the sample vehicles, and they have made eight products from 6m to 12m.

Huanghai school buses are not just remodeled from plain buses, and apart from adhering national standards, they have also referred some standards in the US and Europe. They adopted some craftsmanship from MAN. And they also invested lots of equipments and manpower to ensure safety and reliability of their buses.

Huanghai DD6751K01F bus was ratified by NDRC in March, 2008. And this is the first time for domestic bus builders to produce primary school bus. They have produced 112 school buses since 2008.

 
 
As far as Huanghai Bus is concerned that although the segment market for school bus is not so big, government of all levels are paying attention on school bus and as the formal release of national standards of school bus, there will be a right future for development of school bus.

Huanghai Bus is calling on all bus builders to develop school buses according to the national standards and to some differentiation remodeling accordingly. And they hope relative department can make some more regulations concerning to law, funds as well as operation mode, so that China school bus market can develop healthily.
