Qilu Bus Joins Hands with Tsinghua University for New Energy Technology

www.chinabuses.org: News conference of new energy vehicle technological alliance between Shandong Qilu Auto Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Tsinghua University was held in Dezhou Guidu Hotel on April 21, 2010.

Tsinghua automotive engineering department is one of the most centuried branch of learning in China, and they are shouldering major national scientific research projects on new energy vehicle fields. Qilu Bus signed the technical transformation and cooperation contract with them to boost development of Qilu new energy vehicles.
Dean of Tsinghua Automotive Engineering Department said that China electric vehicles need support of some far-sighted enyerprises, and construction of infrastructure like electric charging stations needs help from government. The fourth World Sunshine City Meeting will be held in Dezhou, and this will provide a broad stage for Qilu Bus to show their new energy vehicles.

And their agreement rules that Tsinghus University will transfer key technology of pure electric vehicle control system, and they will jointly develop two 7m high-end pure electric business medium buses.
It is learned that the cooperation will promote Qilu Bus production capacity up to 60,000 units with sales revenues more than 250,000,000 Yuan (36,764,706 USD).
