4 "World Expo Low-carbon" Express Buses to Serve World Expo

www.chinabuses.org: On 8 April 2010, "World Expo Low-carbon Express Buses" advocated by Modern Gold Newspaper, Fenghua Tengtou Village and Bird Technology Group was started. During the World Expo, there will be 4 low-carbon buses connecting "Tengtou Pavillion"and "Tengtou Village" in accordance with the concept of "Green World Expo and Low-carbon Life" of 2010 World Expo.
On the starting ceremony, Bird new energy buses first were presented at 12-meter length, with spacious interior and light noise in operation. The model was produced by Ningbo Shenma Automotive Manufacturing Co., Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary of Bird Technology Group. Yang Shuiping, the general manager of Electric Automobile Business Department of Bird Technology Group revealed that,"4-hour's charging of this model can afford to the constant driving of longer than 300 kilometers without traditional clutch and transmission." These 4 buses have undertaken the test operation in Sanya, Hainan for more than one month before.
