www.chinabuses.org: In the evening of 31 March, 2010, the result of China Int'l Bus Competition (CIBC) was announced, which is hosted by China Urban Transportation Association and Science and Technology Division of China Urban Transportation Association. There are about 20 bus builders obtaining 9 awards. With three models, Higer Bus obtained two awards of CIBC: "New Energy Bus" of CIBC (KLQ6129GHE1) and " China Excellent Bus" of CIBC (KLQ6119GA).

KLQ6129GHE1 is the classic model of Higer Bus with the several months' operation in Suzhou and Kunming. It is known that this model is regarded as " the new hybrid power bus with high technology" and " special bus with special battery" by some netizens. The technical principal introduced that they applied the hybrid power system developed by Higer Bus adaptable for customers' individual requirements. Therefore, the biggest feature of this model is the flexible configuration.

KLQ6119GA is a 11.5-meter bus with full loading body, which is developed since last August and still in bench test currently.It is understood from the related principal that this model is outstanding in full loading body plus manual transmission and equipped with the features of releasing driver's  labor intensity, adaptability for city roads and good fuel-saving.
