Wuzhoulong Motors has released eight generations new energy buses:

 Sept. 2002: two Wuzhoulong hybrid bus models were produced, and they passed 20,000 km road test in October.

Oct. 2002-July 2004: Wuzhoulong sample bus passed national testing organization as well as related organization in Guangdong province.

Wuzhoulong hybrid bus program was listed as one of the important construction projects in Shenzhen.

Wuzhoulong hybrid bus program was listed as national 863 electric vehicles plan on Nov. 19, 2005. Twenty-five hybrid buses were put into business operation, including seven parallel connection hybrid buses.

In early 2006, Wuzhoulong hybrid bus passed national certificate and was listed in Development and Reform Commission. The first Wuzhoulong hybrid buses were sold to the U.S.

The first Wuzhoulong CNG + storage battery hybrid bus, FDG6113HEVG, was developed in April 2007.

The eighth generation hybrid buses export to the Philippines.

They singed technical agreement with American Alexander Denis Company for seventeen years in July, 2008.

Shenzhen new energy auto “ten city thousand vehicles”program started in 2008, and the first fifty Wuzhoulong hybrid buses were delivered in the tenth High-tech Exhibition.

Wuzhoulong Motors passed new energy vehicle complete vehicle admittance aptitude.

101 Wuzhoulong hybrid buses were put into operation in Shenzhen Bus Group on June 12, 2009.

In June 2009, they invested 1,600,000,000 yuan (234,360,000 USD) to start Chongqing Wuzhoulong New Energy Company.

They invested 60,000,000 yuan (8,788,000 USD) to build national new energy vehicle research center in 2009.

The eighth generation Wuzhoulong hybrid bus includes pneumoelectric hybrid buses, hybrid-electric buses as well as pure electric buses etc. and they developed low entry and low floor hybrid buses and double deckers with automobile transmission and electronic control clutch etc patents. Their multi energy controller can reach fuel prudent as much as 25%.

Currently Wuzhoulong hybrid buses include FDG6111HEVG, FDG6111HEVG1, and FDG6111HEVG2.

Characteristics of Wuzhoulong hybrid buses are as followings:

1. Fuel prudent surpassed 25% with low speed pure electric vehicles.

2. Electricity efficiency. The plug-in equipment can be use in trough power at night.

3. Stable and low noise. Because pure electric mode is employed during start and low-speed, the vehicle features low noise and stable driving.

4. Environmentally friendly. The vehicle can achieve national Ⅳ emission standard.

5. The vehicle can drive in many road conditions.

According to Wuzhoulong Motors program, output of all kinds of environmentally friendly vehicles will reach 15,000 units, and their output value will amount to 9 billion yuan (1,318,275,000 USD) with taxation 650,000,000,000 yuan (95,208,000 USD). Wuzhoulong has also cooperated with Shanghai Tongji University and Guangdong University of Technology to research hydrogen energy coaches and pure electric coaches.
