WABCO Cooperates with Jiefang in Technology and Wins Special Supplier Award

www.chinabuses.org: WABCO Vehicle Control Systems, the global technology leader in commercial vehicles announced on 23 February 2010 that it carried on the further cooperation with FAW Jiefang Automotive Company, Ltd. WABCO would provide clutch cylinders for many FAW Jiefang heavy-duty trucks as the exclusive supplier in 2010. FAW Jiefang is the truck-building subsidiary of the FAW group, China' s largest automobile manufacturer.
WABCO made breaking process in the cooperation with FAW Jiefang in 2009 and became the main supplier of a full range of braking systems. Meanwhile, FAW Jiefang made a record in the production of trucks in 2009, which also brought the unprecedented challenges for its almost 400 suppliers. WABCO attained the "Special Contribution Award 2009" with its outstanding performance.
