China Senior Official Visits King Long

www.chinabuses.org: The senior official Mr. Su Wei, leader of National Development and Reform Commission Global Climate Change Bureau, Mr. Huang Xiaozhou, leader of Xiamen Development and Reform Commission, Mr. Yang Qi, leader of Xiamen liaison office in Beijing, visited Xiamen Kinglong United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd (Kinglong for short as below) on February 25, 2010. The purpose of visiting in this time is to know more about the new-energy vehicle development of Kinglong and its technology. Mr. Chen Zhiqiang, vice general manager of Kinglong and Mr. Zhou Fangming, manager of Kinglong's technical department, accompanied them to take a visit and introduced about the development of Kinglong.

 

Kinglong Sends Bus Model to Mr. Su


During the inspection, Mr. Su Wei personally gets on the Kinglong XMQ6127GH1 hybrid bus and Kinglong XMQ6126YE pure electric bus to take a closer look about the new product and technology. Kinglong says thanks to the National Development and Reform Commission’s good policy and strong support,  Kinglong’s new-energy buses get great development. Customers who buy new-energy buses can get the subsidy from the government. Each vehicle can get the subsidy of 300,000 yuan or 500,000 yuan. Mr. Su Wei also points out the low carbon products are very important to the social long-term development. Kinglong should take the related social responsibility and promote the green life.

 

Mr. Su Personally Gets on the Bus to Inspect


Established in 1988 with the headquarter locating in Xiamen, Kinglong professionally deals with research, development, manufacturing and marketing of large and medium size coach. With an annual production capacity of 30000 units, Kinglong has been able to manufacture more than 200 kinds of products ranging from 4.5m to 18m, which include touring buses, coaches, buses, passenger cars and special vehicles.
