China Auto Export Decline

www.chinabuses.org: China customs reports that the auto export business in the year of 2009 declines sharply. Compared the year of 2008, the auto export volume was down 46 percent in 2009. China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM for short as below) says China totally exported 369,600 autos last year and the value reached $5.19 billion, also down 46 percent year-on-year.


The domestic auto market surged in 2009 and the import volume of minibus reached 164,800 units, up 45 percent year-on-year. The figures of auto sale and output hit record high. In the year of 2009, China became the largest auto market in the world and its sales volume hit 13.64 million units.
