The First 10m-above Pure Electric Bus in Henan Province

www.chinabuses.org: Yutong pure electric bus ZK6126EGA9 made its debut in Xinxiang, Henan province, on Feb. 5, 2010. This is the first 10m-above, 11.6-meter, pure electric city bus Yutong has ever produced after more than ten years research and development in new energy bus field, and this is also the first 10m-above pure electric bus in Henan Province, marking city buses in Henan Province steps in zero emission era.
Citizens are all astonished when hearing that only 55 Kwh were consumed in 100km, namely about 30 yuan. And it takes about 25L gas, about 150 yuan, for conventional gas city bus.
Forty pure electric buses are scheduled to put into three bus lines in Xinxiang, according to person in charge of Xinxiang Public Transport Company.
ZK6126EGA9 features zero emission, low noise and auto gear shifting, adopting Yutong self-developed electricity drive system. And the self gear shifting system reduces stage changeover to make driver more comfortable. Acoustic technology reduced noise made when running; and whole vehicle intelligent CAN networks improve intelligence of the whole vehicle.
The bus adopts BRT appearance with GPS, supervisory system, IC Card Inductor. After handled in anode electrophoresis painting lines, ZK6126EGA9 can keep brand-new in the whole operation period.
It took one year for Yutong to survey in thirteen cities. And researchers have overcame a series of obstacles in the process.
