Jilin Formally Set-up New Energy Auto Industry Association

www.chinabuses.org : It is known from the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jilin Province that the Jilin new energy auto industry association was formally founded recently with the organizing of the provincial leading group of the promotion of the new energy auto in order to integrate the related industry resources on 28 December 2009.
This association consists of 23 manufacturers and institutes such as FAW Group, Jilin University, Changchun lithium-energy New Energy Co., Ltd., which represents the highest level of the search & development and the producing of the new energy vehicles in Jilin province. As the main part, FAW is charge of the search & development, test and the performance improvement and choosing the accessories such as battery and engine, meanwhile, bringing out technical standard & requirement and the demonstration of the complete vehicle. As the major technical partner, Jilin University is responsible to establish the search and development platform of the technology and build up the test analysis platform and trial evaluation system.
It is understood that the major responsibilities of this association are as followed: First, it aims to strengthen the development of the key core parts with the objective of the industrialization of the new energy vehicles. The scientific achievements and labs are conditionally open to the association members. Also the membership companies are able to carry on joint procurement to reduce the cost of manufacturing. Second, it aims to improve the communication with the government to better reflect the requirements. Third, it aims to actively accelerate the demonstration of the new energy auto and set up the comprehensive basis of application and demonstration.
The relevant principal of the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jilin Province shows that more support will be made to the prosperity of the Jilin new energy auto industry association and the special found applied to the projects of the development of the key accessory and the building of the collocation facilities as well as the test application.
