www.chinabuses.org : The sales condition of the traditional buses is increasingly recovering and the orders of the new energy buses promote the better situation with more demand for purchasing of buses. It is estimated that the new energy buses will first realize the industrialization and make great achievement to the mainstream bus corporations.

The big increase of the sales in chain and over the same period was realized in November 2009. As the report of the Shenyin Wanguo, the sales of the buses in November are 15.224 thousand units with the rising of 46% over the same period as well as the chain growth of 26.2% and reached the high increasing speed,apart from the that in this September (with the chain grow of 51.7%). The accumulated sales are 133.55 thousand units from Jan. to Nov. and the reducing range is decreasing month by month although there is still 6.8% down over the same period.

The demand for  the Yutong Bus is first recovering, and then Kinglong. The sales volume of Yutong is 2876 units in November with the growth of 56.8% over the same period.  The total sales from Jan. to Nov. are 23.3 thousand units with the 3.6% down over the same period, which is better than the average industry level.  The total sales volume of Kinglong, Golden Dragon and Higer is 38.9 units and with the similar growth speed of 6.9% down.  However, the degree of recovery is different among them.  The sales of the Kinglong Bus have realized the positive growth from Jan. to Nov. with the quicker speed. Shenyin Wanguo predicted that the growth speed would remain 15% or so in the bus industry and the leading company would exceed the average speed of industry in the monopolistic competition.

Some of the bus manufacturers on second and third level obtained the orders of the new energy buses while the leading bus corporations got nothing for that. Shenyin Wanguo emphasized repeatedly that the leading bus corporations would not fall behind to those companies. Recently, it is known that Yutong Bus has gained the orders of the new energy buses (60 units) from Hangzhou and (10 units) from Zhengzhou. Moreover, these 10 longest hybrid power buses in China have been delivered for operation. Meanwhile, Xiamen Golden Dragon also got the order of new energy buses (200 units ) from Hangzhou. Shenyin Wanguo predicted that Yutong and Kinglong would get more such orders with the extension of the demonstration cities of new energy vehicles.

It is estimated that the public buses will first realize the industrialization with the active promotion of the government in the future. Shenyin Wanguo indicated that the new energy buses would first make the great achievements compared with the passenger vehicles. The related policies issued in 2010 and the orders from other cities will be the accelerator of the rising of the shares of leading corporations.
