FAW Bus:Changchun New Energy Buses Have Been Produced

www.chinabuses.org As our "the Demontration City of the Energy Conservation and New Energy Auto",Changchun will apply 100 new energy public buses in 2009. The gas-electric hybrid power buses specially designed by FAW formaly began to be produced on November 19,2009.

The new energy buses produced by the FAW Bus and Coach are 12-meter long gas-electric power buses with the fuel saving rate of about 31%,which will also be the first time to promote the gas-electric buses on a large scale in our country.
All new energy buses with air-conditioners will be the splendid view on the People Avenue in operation.
Zhang Guohua,the director of the Passenger Transport Management Office of the Traffic Bureau said that there would 100 buses in the No.6 Bus operation on the People Avenue by December 30,2009,also one hundred more in 2010 and one thousand before 2012.
It is known that the FAW hybrid power buses integrete several new technologies developed on their own and play the leading role in the domestic new energy buses. Currently,the FAW hybrid buses have been successfully operated in Beijing,Dalian and Kunming with mature technology. The gas-electric buses specially designed by FAW are chosen to operate in Changchun for less emmission and enviromental effect,different from many other cities using fuel-electric hybrid power buses.
