Cummins Sales Down in Q3

www.chinabuses.org: News from Cummins Inc. reports that its third quarter sale reached $2.53 billion and the net income got $95 million. The results show that the global economic downturn is lingering and it continues to affect related demand in most markets.
Compared the same period of the last year, the sale is down 31 percent and the net income decreases 59 percent. Compared to the second quarter, sales increased 4 percent because of robust demand in China, India and Brazil.
Cummins Inc., a global power leader, is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems.
