Twenty CSR Times Electric Buses Will Run in Zhuzhou in Late Oct.

www.chinabuses.org: On the morning of October 29, 2009, 20 new CSR Times electric environmentally friendly buses run slowly into Zhuzhou public transport Hexi base. And they will be assigned to T2 (10 units), T19 (10 units) on October 31, 2009.

The 20 buses, adopted automatic bus stop announcer, LCD on-vehicle TV set and non-contact IC card OBU, feature low chassis and large capacity. The environmentally friendly buses are equipped electronic video recording facility to record everything happened in the bus. The bus will be managed intellectually, and oil temperature, water temperature, engine speed, and tire pressure etc will be monitored so as anything abnormal happened will be reported to the police automatically, and they will be handled by public transport monitor center in time to protect passengers and drivers effectively.
Government of Zhuzhou has planned that all 627 public transport buses would be replaced by electric or hybrid buses in three years. Currently 140 electric buses have been running in Zhuzhou, and these buses are going through the formalities to run in urban areas and they will be ready by October 31, 2009.
