FAW Jiabao V70 Minibus Roll off Production Line in Jilin

English.chinabuses.com: Jiabao V70 new minibus which is self-developed by FAW rolled off the production line in FAW (Jilin) Automobile Co., Ltd. on September 12, 2009. Zhu Yanfeng, member of standing committee of Jilin Province and executive vice governor, and Xu Jianyi, general manager of FAW, attended the ceremony.

On behalf of provincial party committee and provincial government of Jilin Province, Zhu Yanfeng congratulated off-line of Jiabao V70. He said that China automobile market is still increasing and there is an immense space in the future. He believed Jiabao V70 would achieve success.
It’s an inevitable choice for FAW to develop minibuses if they want to be stronger. And they have set targets of ranking top three in minibus industry in three to five years by establishing minibus garage, promoting research and develop ability, increase investment and allocating capable employees, said Xu Jianzhong.

FAW (Jilin) Automobile Co., Ltd. is forthgoer in domestic minibus industry. The first minibus had rolled off the production line here in 1981 after the establishment of PRC. Jiabao minibuses released in 1999 have been sold for ten years. FAW accelerated self-development pace and Jiabao has updated and upgraded rapidly since 2009. Jiabao V70, adopted new technology with super large space and bearing ability, won great praise in Shanghai Auto Expo, and it became a shining star in 2009 minibus market.
