Yuchai Sees H1 Sales Revenue Rise by 37.5%

Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Limited Company (GYMCL), China's leading diesel engine manufacturer, announced that its sales revenue in the first half of this year rose by 37.5% from one year earlier, xinhua.net reported today.
Yuchai Group saw its sales increase by 29.46% year on year to 18.35 billion yuan in 2007.
For the first half of 2008, Yuchai Group posted a 37.5% year-on-year growth of sales revenue to12.259 billion yuan, accounting for 53.3% of its annual sales target.
Yuchai has made remarkable progress in its independent innovation with lots of new products being developed in the first half of this year, said Yuchai Group in a conference held in Guangxi.
In Jan-June, Yuchai succeeded in the ignition of its 6K powerful diesel engine and 4Y sedan-used diesel engine. The company developed 452 types of new engines, an increase of 39.5% from a year earlier and the development of basic products posted 9.8% increase y/y to 59 models.
