Zhongtong Bus Announces H1 Annual Report

English.chinabuses.com; recently, Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhongtong) disclosed the interim report for its operation in the first half of 2009 to the public. According to the report, the bus builder saw its production and sales volume plummet by 28.2% and 30.6% respectively year on year in the first six months of 2009, reaching 2,662 and 2,653 units. As a result, its sales revenue went down sharply by standing at RMB 501 million (about USD 73.30 million).

By the end of Jun., Zhongtong suffered a loss of RMB 9.377 million (about USD 1.37 million). In the meantime, its earnings per share stood at RMB -0.04, down sharply by 180% year on year.
