Jiangsu Exported 1,716 Buses in First Half of 2009

English.chinabuses.com: according to the latest statistics released by Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation, the province exported 13,300 units of vehicles in the first half of 2009, including 1,716 units of large- and medium-sized buses.

 

Due to the weak demand in the overseas market from the beginning of this year, Jiangsu saw its vehicle export volume shrink by 53.7% y/y. Its vehicle export revenue went down by 57.4% y/y, registering at USD 157 m. Another notable fact is that Africa surpassing Asia, became the biggest vehicle export destination of the province with a total export revenue of USD 65.99 million.
