QFSP Project Carried Out in Yutong

Recently, 9 subitems of the key project of the supply chain system in 2009, namely the Quality Focused Supplier Process (QFSP) project, will start one after another in three batches, which marks that the project has entered a new stage.
Different from the previous mode of quality improvement which only focused on single problem, QFSP is an innovation of Material Assurance Dept. in 2009 in terms of the suppliers’ quality improvement mode.
The main objects of the implementation are nine suppliers who work closely with our company and our supplier quality engineers will conduct a six months counseling for them. The content includes the methods of analyzing and solving problems by using quality tools like 5 WHY, Stratification, etc. and setting up a communication platform.
between suppliers and Yutong’s management by means of regular on-site and management evaluation campaign thus significantly enhancing the comprehensive ability of suppliers and the quality of outsourcing parts.
It is learned that the project has proceeded smoothly so far. With the further implementation of the work, the improvement effect of various subitems will continuously appear and lay a solid foundation for the qualitative leap of outsourcing parts’ quality.
