3.2 million US dollars Gearboxes Assemble Beiqi Foton Hybrid Buses

Recently, 150 units new type gearboxes, worth of 3.2 million US dollars were cleared by the Customs smoothly. With the batch of gearboxes assembled to Beiqi Foton hybrid buses, the largest new energy auto commercial project in China- 800 units’ new energy autos will start gradually.
As one of the important steps of promoting new energy autos independent research and development, Beiqi Foton established Energy Saving&Emission Decrease key laboratory, introduced emission analysis system ,high low temperature environment simulation system ,which are all international advanced test equipment. This demand of this kind of equipment is urgent, the model is diverse, the clearance of customs is extremely complex, for this reason, Beijing Customs send staff and give help to Beiqi Foton; gearboxes and battery system for new energy system also need import, Beijing Customs adopts “the region entry” to help Feiqi Foton; In tax reduction, Beijing Customs has already reduced the import duty and value added tax, with an amount of 320,000,000 yuan ($46,900,000).
