In the first quarter of 2009, the sector’s export volume plummeted by 72.75% year on year.

Ankai Bus, a well established bus builder in China, exported its HFF6137K07D and HFF6127K46 luxury coaches to the US market via Shanghai port, marking the first batch of coach products made in China officially enters the US state of California.

The successful entry of the two Ankai coach models in the USA is a new milestone for the bus builder’s overseas expansion, ushering a new era in which the company competes directly with those international big names in the high-end coach sector. HFF6137K07D (12 meters or 40 feet) and HFF6127K46 (13.7 meter or 45 feet) with streamlined appearances, effectively promote their fuel economy. As the first two coach models from China that have received ADR registration in Australia, they are also put under service of Australian National Army.
