Recently, it is learnt from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that Huanghai DD6129HES11 hybrid bus developed by Huanghai Bus has been given green light for official production, marking that the bus builder has successfully secured the favorable supports from the government.

At the end of Mar. in 2009, a jury from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology conducted a thorough assessment at the production base of Huanghai Bus. Later, experts in the jury unanimously agreed that the hybrid bus rolled out by Huanghai Bus Research Institute could meet the standards set by the government and the company has the capability of manufacturing hybrid buses.

Jointly developed with Beijing Institute of Aerospace Technology, the low entry DD6129HES11 finally made its debut this year after over 50 bus engineers working hard for over three years. Thanks to its hybrid feature, its presence in urban bus fleet will surely help cut carbon footprints of bus operators.
