In the recently held 12th Beijing International High-Tech Expo, China’s High-tech Enterprise Development Forum, that is 3rd “China's Independent Innovation Award Presentation Ceremony", Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group won "China's automotive industry innovation award" ,it was the only engine enterprise that won the award.

    
The conference was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information, the State Intellectual Property Office, the International Trade Promotion Committee and the Beijing Municipal People's Government. "China's automotive industry innovation award" was given to Yuchai after a number of leading academicians and experts’ recommendation and assessment.

Another 13 enterprises also won this award in this year , including: Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd., Sinotruck, Beiqi Futian Automobile Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd., Belfast Automotive Gear Co., Ltd.,  which were from cars, trucks, buses, auto parts&components industry.
