Magnetic North R130 System Passes EU GSR Certification on First Attempt
20 January 2026
Magnetic North’s self-developed R130 Lane-Departure Warning System (LDWS) has cleared every test on its first attempt, recording a minimum lateral deviation of just 1 cm. The certificate confirms the product’s reliability and world-class performance while removing a key regulatory barrier to wider European adoption.

Deepening European Footprint, Raising Compliance Bar
After years of targeted investment, Magnetic North now powers several benchmark fleets across Europe and has earned deep-rooted customer trust. Its Blind-Spot Detection System was earlier the first to satisfy both UN R151 and UN R159 in full, giving the company a complete active-safety compliance portfolio.

The R130 approval closes the final gap under the EU General Safety Regulation (GSR), validating Magnetic North’s end-to-end compliance capability and reinforcing European confidence in the system’s safety and technical maturity. The certification paves the way for accelerated market expansion across the continent.
Looking ahead, Magnetic North will continue to use EU regulations as its design baseline, fast-track additional intelligent-safety functions, and deliver a safer, smarter mobility ecosystem for European and global users alike.
