Golden Dragon Electric Kast: Dedicated to 5A-Rated Scenic Spots

22 October 2025

Across 96.38 km² of boundless forest at Changchun’s Jingyue Lake, a fleet of Golden Dragon pure-electric Kast shuttle buses glides silently forward. Their windows mirror endless emerald hills; their tyres kiss the dawn-dewed road with barely a whisper—only the soft gasp of a traveler catching the lake’s first silver glint. This living tableau of “vehicles moving through the forest, passengers wandering inside a painting” is the vivid signature of a national 5A park that links ecological splendor to visitor experience through zero-emission transport.

Green shuttles in an oxygen-bar forest—turning every ride into scenery

Jingyue Lake’s magic is nature’s gift: 96 % forest cover, negative-ion counts that dwarf city air, an 18-km lakeside loop road that stitches spring blossoms, summer shade, scarlet autumns and snow-draped pines into one year-round poem. In 2024 the scenic operation department welcomed 1.355 million visitors, with July–August peaks topping the charts.

Mr. Fan Zhiyong, Director of the Sightseeing Vehicle Division, Jingyue Lake Tourism Development Group, explains: “To meet every mobility need we deployed varied transport, and the Golden Dragon pure-electric Kast is our flagship. It solves real pain-points: low-entry, wide-door access for seniors, children and mobility-impaired guests; priority seats; wipe-clean, wear-proof interiors that stay fresh after 200 km a day. Visitors tell us, ‘We can slow-travel in comfort’—and that praise drives our satisfaction scores upward.”

Green at the core, reliable and efficient—making the Kast the optimum choice

Twenty Golden Dragon pure-electric Kast now form the greenest artery of the park. They run almost non-stop in peak season, yet keep failure rates minimal and maintenance costs low. Zero tailpipe emissions preserve the “urban oxygen bar”; near-silent motors leave birdsong undisturbed, delivering an immersive forest bath while championing responsible tourism.

Economics are equally compelling: electricity costs one-third to one-quarter of diesel, and the simplified e-drive (motor, inverter, battery) slashes oil-filter routines, freeing budget for conservation and service upgrades. Since 2019 the fleet has proved itself a reliability shield, climbing steep loop-road grades fully loaded and shrugging off high-frequency summer shuttles as well as Changchun’s minus-20 °C winters. A five-layer cold-weather package—double-pane insulated glass, high-output boiler, body insulation, chassis blankets and independent water-fed heater—keeps cabins toasty while guests watch snowfields roll past.

From dawn forest light to dusk return, spring petals to winter white, the Golden Dragon pure-electric Kast has become part of Jingyue Lake’s living ecosystem—guarding nature with green power, warming travelers with thoughtful service, securing operations with bullet-proof reliability. It is at once the practitioner of the park’s “eco-first” creed and the messenger of its “service supreme” promise, offering China’s 5A scenic destinations a replicable model where ecological protection and service upgrade advance hand in hand.
