GK Drive Shines at 2025 Busworld Europe with New E-Drive Axle Innovations
06 October 2025

At its stand, GK Drive is presenting the BRE 90S E-driven axle for the first time publicly. Designed for medium-sized city buses (8–9.5 meters), this integrated system combines the motor, reducer, and driven axle into a single compact unit. The space-saving design offers greater flexibility in vehicle layout and helps optimize overall performance.

Also on display is the BRE 131 E-driven axle, engineered for large buses over 10 meters in length. Its deep-drop axle beam supports low-floor designs, facilitating easier passenger boarding and alighting. GK Drive provides integrated solutions that include axles, motors, and controllers, helping bus manufacturers reduce costs and improve efficiency. The streamlined design and reduced number of mechanical components also contribute to a lighter overall system.

Two further highlights are the BRA 101 driven axle and the BFA 80I independent suspension front axle. The BRA 101, suited for 8–9.5-meter buses with 19.5” tires, uses a lightweight portal double-reduction structure that lowers the vehicle floor to speed up passenger flow. The BFA 80I, designed for buses over 10 meters, enhances ride comfort for drivers and passengers through its independent front suspension (IFS) design.
