On August 31st, the highly anticipated 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit opened in Tianjin. Yuchai provided power support for the summit's commuting vehicles, ensuring the smooth running of the event with comprehensive and high-standard services.

As the fifth SCO Summit hosted by China, this summit is the largest in scale since the organization's inception, with over 20 foreign leaders and 10 heads of international organizations gathering by the Haihe River.

A total of 590 commuting buses were deployed for the summit, with 500 of them powered by Yuchai engines, accounting for a remarkable 85% share. The main models included the YCK08 and YCS06, both of which are top-tier products meeting China's National VI emission standards.

During the actual service of the summit, the outstanding performance of Yuchai engines was fully demonstrated. In terms of power, Yuchai engines' strong burst power and high torque output ensured ample power for vehicles under all operating conditions. Regarding fuel economy, Yuchai's industry-leading efficient combustion technology achieved a reduction of approximately 6% in fuel and oil consumption. In terms of comfort, Yuchai's engines, with the lowest vibration and noise levels in the industry, created a quiet and comfortable travel environment for the attendees.

To ensure the safety of the summit vehicles, a specialized service team of 50 Yuchai technical experts was assembled. The team conducted 19 precision inspections on the vehicles, pre-configured spare parts, and provided one-on-one on-site services at each parking location. They established a comprehensive protection network, ranging from in-depth engine maintenance to real-time on-site response, achieving 100% in-depth maintenance for the service vehicles.

Yuchai has extensive experience in providing power support for major international conferences, having powered events such as the APEC Summit in Beijing and the Boao Forum for Asia. Looking ahead, Yuchai will continue to innovate and uphold quality, demonstrating the new responsibilities of Chinese manufacturing and services.
